THE ZOBHA FOUNDATION
|
When we launched Zobha in 2008, we knew it was important to support the community that gives us our daily inspiration. Not just by providing quality, high-performance fitness wear, but also by giving opportunities to those within our community who might not otherwise have access to the necessary resources to help them become their most centered, productive selves.
In time, we came to realize that The Zobha Foundation (as we had named our charitable effort) in fact was a manifestation of our core values as a company: our foundation in the truest sense of the word.

|
Grace in All: |
Things go well, things go poorly, and things go somewhere in-between. Meet whatever comes your way with grace (and style). |
|
Self-Actualization: |
You are responsible for maximizing your full potential. This means realizing the importance of a global community, giving back so it can flourish, and fulfilling your own development by finding a way to be productive. |
|
Extend the Circle: |
Every person can make a positive difference. A kind word or a smile in a casual interaction brings a small bit of light to the world. A scholarship can allow someone to go on to teach and influence thousands. When you have the chance, extend the circle.

Headstand is a program that brings yoga to the classrooms of children at risk of failing to achieve their potential due to instability in their communities, families, or personal life. We have seen the benefit of yoga and other physical activities in our own lives, and believe that Headstand’s activities can have a long-term, positive impact on the lives of those touched. In 2010, Zobha will donate 10% of sales of our bestselling Grace Tank to support Headstand, and will provide other support such as sponsoring fundraising events, providing outfits for teachers, and offering guidance as Headstand works to extend their successful program to additional communities.
