Zobha at the Yoga Journal San Francisco Conference
Hyatt Regency, San Francisco, CA

The Zobha booth in the Sponsor Marketplace was very busy during the 3-day conference in San Francisco. It was wonderful to reconnect with all of the returning students and teachers.

Congratulations to our Grand Prize Winner, Katie J of San Francisco, CA, who will receive her choice of a 3 piece Zobha outfit from our Spring 2010 collection.

The Zobha Team enjoyed meeting presenters, teachers, and students from around the world. We look forward to seeing you again next year (or come visit us in Boston)!

Zobha Sponsors Free Community Yoga Class
At the San Francisco Yoga Journal Conference
Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 1PM

Eager students lined the halls an hour prior (30 minutes earlier than last year!) to a free yoga class offered as part of the Yoga Journal Conference. The class was full with conference attendees and Bay Area locals, who were treated to a free peek of the larger conference.

Nikki Estrada, renowned instructor and Circle of Grace member, led the class in a vigorous practice to help students embrace grace in their bodies, practice, and life. The inspiring class and positive energy from everyone in the room provided a peaceful mid-day break.

Nikki spoke of the importance of community leadership and activism as well as introduced attendees to the mission behind the Zobha Foundation.

Thank you to all those who attended! Stay tuned...another Zobha-sponsored community class is planned for Yoga Journal Boston Conference in April.

Zobha Grace of Giving Scholarship Award
YogaWorks in Walnut Creek, CA

In January, Jamie Hanna, Zobha Founder and CEO, presented Misa Nuccio with the Grace of Giving Scholarship. Misa will use this $3,000 grant to participate in the YogaWorks’ 200-hour teacher training. The scholarship is a need-based grant and is a part of Zobha’s broader effort to give back to the yoga community and make yoga accessible to all.

"I am constantly humbled by the art of yoga, and its tendency to transform our perspectives, and allow us to understand to what extent our minds tend to limit us." – Misa Nuccio
