![]() Kay Kay Clivio | New York, NYKay Kay’s journey into yoga began in the summer of 1996 when she first stepped onto her mat at the Bikram Yoga College of India in Honolulu, Hawaii. She began a regular and dedicated yoga practice to heal a low back injury she had sustained from her training to race Hawaiian Outrigger Canoes. Immediately, Kay Kay felt first hand the healing effects of yoga on her low back. Since then Kay Kay has been diligently working to further develop her studies and increase her understanding of what motivates her to practice and teach. After traveling the globe teaching and studying, Kay Kay is now rooted as a senior teacher at PURE Yoga in NYC. Kay Kay’s classes carry a nurturing, healing quality. She uses eloquent, intelligent asana sequencing with a strong emphasis on physical and spiritual alignment, helping students to plant deep, strong roots to grow a beautiful lifetime practice. It is when we pause and reflect on beauty, in ourselves and all things. I feel graceful in my Zobha clothing. It expresses my spirit, my Divine Energy: Colorful, Playful, Strong, Feminine. I feel privileged to be part of such a Graceful group of women as those in the Circle of Grace." |
