Zobha Supports Breast Cancer Awareness
Each October, members of our community join the movement to raise awareness around this important cause through local Circle of Grace Member-led fundraising events and through direct purchases on zobha.com.
In October 2011, Zobha created two exclusive colors of the limited edition Zobha BCA Grace Tanks to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. To date, we have contributed over $84,191 to this special cause.
Zobha Circle of Grace Yoga Workshops
100% of all fees for these yoga workshops are donated directly to breast cancer awareness organizations around the world. We thank our Circle of Grace members for generously donating their time and for their commitment to breast cancer awareness. Here is a listing of this year’s events:

Allison English in Chicago, IL
The class benefited the Bright Pink Foundation, a national non profit that supports young woman at high risk for breast and ovarian cancer with wellness screenings, guidance for those who need surgery, and support for those who have gone through surgery.
"In my Poses for Pink: Breast Cancer Awareness Class at Equinox we moved, sweated and breathed together with the intention to deeply nourish our hearts. From this heart energy we dedicated our practice to helping the journey of those affected by breast and ovarian cancer. It was so inspirational to have a room full of students all committed to the same cause. My favorite part was when everyone breathed with heart brahmari - a loud buzzing sound that resonates the chest with every exhalation. The whole room lit up our community intention, brilliant energy and Spirit!" – Allison English, National Manager of Pure Yoga Teacher Training at Equinox and Zobha Circle of Grace Member

Jenna Lomazzo in Melbourne, FL
“It was a pleasure to host the donation based yoga classes this year in my community. The second event was our BCA donation-based class. We raised funds for BCRF. People in the community donated drinks, shirts and took pictures. This class was a great opportunity to promote healing, wellness and the benefits of yoga. We watched a video at the end of class about food and where cancer comes from. Very informative." – Jenna Lomazzo, Zobha Circle of Grace Member

Sarra Morton & Nadia Zaki in New York, NY
“We raised over $1,500 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the third year in a row. It was an amazing experience (as always) to have people come participate in a 2 hour class that was for charity.
Everyone there seemed to be glowing before we even started… Nadia and I had both taught all morning, and their enthusiasm was very reinvigorating! The combination of class energy, soulful music, and the joy we experience just teaching together really made for a magical experience. We hope to do another team taught Zobha class in the near future! Thanks again for the beautiful clothing and tote bag donations.” – Sarra Morton, Group Fitness Manager at Equinox and Zobha Circle of Grace Member

Stacy McCarthy in San Diego, CA
Stacy shared an email from a student who shared her experience from this class that benefited City of Hope. It was scheduled to be outside until rain moved the class indoors: "Yesterday was really fun. You handled the rain so well. I loved when you said "embrace nature." And when you explained how we found "peace in the midst of chaos" when we did yoga inside, just like the purpose of yoga. I won't forget that. I definitely took that away and thought about it. I even passed on that story of yesterday to my dad and he really liked it. That was excellent. Love the pink bubble yum tanks. Love, Kara”
